Choosing the Best Toothbrush
A Dental Focus on Better Brushing |
We’re faced with quite an array of toothbrushes, and selecting one can be challenging. There is no evidence that a certain brush design is necessarily better than another. The main features to look for in a toothbrush are soft bristles and a small brush head to fit comfortably in your mouth for easy brushing. When brushing, continue to brush the teeth, gums and tongue for two to three minutes. Brushes should be replaced before the bristles become frayed or after an illness, no less than every three to four months. Consult your dental professional for further information.
