Oral Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week was established by the Yul Brynner Foundation in an effort to promote awareness, provide education and prevent cancer. It is celebrated starting on April 21, 2009. More than 35,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral cancer this year, and 25 percent of those have no risk factors at all.
