Resolve to Brush and Floss Properly

A Dental Focus on New Year's Resolution for Oral Health
Brushing and flossing properly can play a big part in improved oral health. When brushing, remember to use a soft bristled brush for approximately 2 minutes at least twice a day. Your brush should be held gently against your teeth at a 45 degree angle and should be swept over teeth in a circular motion. In addition to brushing each surface of your teeth, remember to gently brush your tongue as well. Although brushing can remove plaque from teeth, flossing is also very important. Daily flossing can remove plaque from between teeth where many cavities begin.
